Why am I certain that you can DOUBLE your reading speed in 60 minutes? Because everyone that have gone through my course has doubled their reading speed. Reading, like any skill, is learned, trained and mastered.

Reading, like any skill, gets better with the amount of time we apply to reading in our daily life. If you hardly ever read - don't expect that you enjoy reading or that you possess great reading skills.

A man who reads one book a year does not have the same reading skills as a person who reads one book a day.

In sports the key to success is training and applying the trained methods - again and again - until we master them. This same principle applies to your reading skill.

To the same effect if you only read fiction - you've mastered reading fiction in no time. But if you change genre and begin reading non-fiction - you'll leave your comfort zone and find that your reading skills aren't as effective in handling non-fiction. You will then need to train reading  in non-fiction - to gain the skills needed in that material.

The same principle applies to sport - a great basketball player might not be as effective when playing golf or baseball. The reason simply being that each sport requires different skillsets.

In reading we need to apply different skills when reading different material. These need to be trained in order for us to be effective readers.

Reading is a habit - and as such needs repetition to be firmly set in place.

Reading is a habit and as such is like any habits we maintain – something we can upgrade, allow to evolve in tune with our reading needs and in time increase our reading skills.

Your reading habits were set in place when you learnt how to read at the age of, maybe 5-7 years old. Very few readers have upgraded their reading habits since very few schools teach you how to upgrade your reading skills. Most readers use the same habits they learnt at a young age. How can a habit of a 5-7 year old – help a 20-30 year old?

Would you as a 20-30 year old use the same time management skills that you used as a 5-7 year old? No, of course not, since you have learnt that you need to upgrade your time management skills as you got older and in tune with your daily needs.

Many readers never consider this and to this day use the same reading habits of a 5-7 year old.

A habit is created, it is set in place, for us to mold and work a skill, train it until it becomes second nature. A habit allows us to use a skill – without thinking – subconsciously. Allowing the skill to push us forward, faster and easier than we previously thought possible.

A habit has its limits and should be discarded as soon as its lifetime is exceeded. When is that? If a habit holds you back – its use is taking too much of your time – or as bad habits sometimes do; it is wasting your time. We should stop using it immediately and begin creating a new and better habit to replace it.

A habit should evolve – in tune with your needs – at any given time in your life.
Consider this. It only takes around 21 days to set a new and better habit in place of an old outdated habit. If you don’t believe me, try it out for yourself.

It takes only twenty-one days to create a habit! Do you have twenty-one days to break a bad habit that’s holding you back, in order to put into practice a new habit that will help you? If you do — use this course and gather the skills needed to make a lasting and positive change in your life.

Create a reading habit that suits your needs. How? Look to your reading needs, as a reader at work, in school or for recreation – and decide to create the habit of reading for at least 30 minutes – each day – in that reading material.

If you allow yourself to create this habit – and stick to it for at least 21 days – you will find that your reading skills will have increased greatly.
